Not sure I understand this correctly. It seems that you could be playing a PBEM and your opponent could tweak some property and you wouldn't know about it? It wouldn't make sense that a game would allow this.

I too see this as a huge concern to PBEM gaming. I am very surprised that others haven't been concerned over this since this came out.

I have always adjusted values and such during a game while testing and if your partner forgets to update he still plays with the old values on his turns while you play with the new ones on yours.
