Tournament Experiment (PBEM)
I have been fooling around with the Tournament Option on the CD.
I have one ready to go and need 2 volunteers to help see how this thing works.
Scenario is set in July of '75. The Soviets have decided to take advantage of the USA's moral collapse post Vietnam, thinking the anti-war movement will prevent the US from fulfilling it's NATO commitments. A Soviet SSBN surfaces in New York harbor and the Soviet Ambassador delivers a note explaining that there are more subs that are not moored at a pier in New York and nukes willl not be an option.
Carnage if horrendous but the Soviets finally find a weak spot. Only there isn't much left to exploit it with. A "B" echelon Formation that has spent the last week getting to the front is the only intact formation available. So a reinforced Motor Rifle Battalion is sent into the attack.
NATO isn't any better off. It is a weak spot in the line because there is a single Jager Company defending a village and an intact bridge in 6 Km's of pretty good tank country.
Help is on the way. An MTW Company and an anti-tank company has just gotten into position. They have to hold long enough for the Cavalry to get there.
No air, since the Soviets threw everything they had left at the NATO airbases that are still operational. So the NATO planes left are defending their bases.

Anyone interested, post here and pair off.
You need a CD and the manual, since the set-up prep stuff is a little different.
Good luck and good hunting.
