Thanks for the kind words.
I used Citadel (Games workshop) metals. They are Acrylics and I cut them with either water, IPA or Lacquer thinners, whatever you prefer. I know that some prefer the Alclads range, but they are very fumy and I have no real ventilation so the acrylics are much friendlier for me to airbrush.

The Citadel metals are made for hand painting warhammer stuff and are very thick (therefore good value)...but they thin down very well and go on, and clean up a treat. I thin about 20 / 80 paint to thinnners....s I said, they are very thick.
I have three different shades, Mithril silver, Chainmail and Boltgun, which is enough to get a few different panels happening.
