Good thinking, Mud.
My memory gets dodgier as I get older, but I am sure I first started playing CS about 1996. Although my profile page shows me a member since 2001, I started well before that, my first recorded game vide the ladder was against Baron von Beergut in Jul 2000, although I believe it was in 1998 or 1999. I distinctly remember shitting blue lights when I made my first tentative advances into the Federovka sunflower fields. And I had the pr*ck, until the last move (his) when he ran his bloody HQ into an objective hex and snatched a draw!!!
I vaguely recall there was some problem early in this decade with the DB that wiped out a lot of historical ladder records.
BTW I make no claim to be even anywhere near the longest serving member.
