oddly the cmbb worked fine like it was - my cmak game turned out to have two sets of bmp pictures of rocks - 2131, 2130 and 32131, 32130 -when I replaced the first two nothing happened. I was like "what the?" - then I searched all the way down and finally there were two identical bmps of grey rocks named 32131, 32130 - I replaced those and then it changed. possibly just my game and the results of past mods...
