It is my sad duty to inform of the death of Gary Collins.
Call Sign here - XLVIII Pz. Korp.
Age 64 ( too young - why ? ! )
He leaves behind a wife and two adult daughters.

I am sure that there plenty of CS gamer victims still out there that
are licking their wounds .
I am ( dammit ! ).

We had great 45 yr. friendship , wargames galore.
And I will miss him.

He is now with Valkerie - preparing for
the ascent to Valhalla.
He - will love it.

Oh My, I am very sorry to hear of Gary's passing!

He was a force in the Campaign Series and did some incredible mods for it too!

My deepest sympathies go out to his family!!

How sad, thank you for informing us Thomas. I was in steady contact with Gary with his work on the 3D unit base mods, and was afraid this news was coming.

Gary's work shall live with the coming CS Vietnam games, for which Gary prepared all the unit bases, as well as for the coming CS East Front game, where he did the bases for the countries there so far. Edit: and of course his unit bases for all CS Middle East nations are there included as a JSGME mod in the latest UPDATE.
