			| Scenarios provided by the game
Out of curiosity, does anybody even play the scenarios PBEM anymore? Not the buy your force ones, the ones that actually came with the game.

I sometimes do, but before I do I make sure that neither player has played before and also stipulate that if the scenario is a lopsided dog that it be called a draw.

Sure we often play them and don't worry about play balance, they can be fun and educational even in defeat.

I was thinking about playing here again, but after the updates and I had to get Win7 not long ago, the graphics don't come through very well.

Are you talking about the SPWaW game version as that game is probably best played in a Window mode because of the graphics. However there appears to be no problems at all with the graphics in SPWW2 the Shrapnel Games version with either W7 or W8 or W8.1

SPWW2 and MBT were downloaded. Several updates since then.

The game graphics itself seem ok, but the scrolling is now slow and jerky and the buttons for preferences and others is a mix of several colors and you have to look close and strain a bit to read what the buttons are. It wasn't like that with XP, but is with 7.

The scrolling can be fixed under the utilities tab, although in Win8 most of the time if I put my mouse point to the top the game will scroll down. The colours sound like you are having a conflict or something, I take it you have tried running as admin/xp? SP ran fine for me under win7 when I used it, no jerky or weird colours, and runs fine under 8.1 except for the backwards mouse scroll.
