Sadly this Top Gun went the way of the first Top Gun.
Guys withdrawing, going missing, not following up. Some made issue on the forum. Others quietly disappeared.
Until now one e-mail, and a couple of forum inquiries, from the contestants asking me about the tourney.
In the first Top Gun I herded the contenders through the process. This time I just did not have it in me to do it all over again.
It is not fair to drop the lowest scorer because someone dropped out or has gone missing, making the tourney unbalanced? Top gun was not that kind of tournament.
All made it into Top Gun because they were the best of the ladder. Small, easy to play, balanced scenarios were picked to help turn around time. Players of ability vying for the top?
If any of the players want it to go forward I can pick it back up again. But, I am not going to herd it along. Larry went missing. Two dropped out. Two of the remaining players made inquiries about the tourney in however long it has been sidelined.
If the Top Gun contenders want to get together among themselves and decide what they want to do I am fine with that. But, you guys need to take the initiative?
Just let me know what you want to do?
