Old Dog Needs Lessons

Gentlemen:

I have been away a long time. I'd like to come back and try my hand at a game or two. I couldn't get my old disks to work on my newer computer, so I downloaded Matrix's version and I think I am all patched up. Anyone want to remind an old dog how to play this game. I prefer East Front and not too big. Turn around is likely to be kinda slow.
