I’m testing EF scenario ‘Pillau – East Prussia’s bloody end’ and problem is that from time to time when I get the turn from my opponent I can see replay in day but when my turn starts (arty fire first) it automatically change in to night. Variable visibility is off. Any ideas what it may be?

In the bte file the day/night flag is 11 lines beneath the title. 0 = day, 1 = night. Check if it is not on 1.

When I get the file is 0 but after replay and save is 1. I may change it back to 0 but arty fire is still in night and I don't see any enemy units except those next to my units.

Is it a dusk scenario? (Check the header in the scn editor)

That explains it. After a number of turns it will turn to darkness with a % chance of happening. A day night or vice versa change always happens after the replay.
If you don't want that you will need to change the scenario type in the header (dusk / dawn attack are the only ones connected with automatic visibility changes). There is no code behind the other types.
