Luftwaffe ace Gunther Rall dies, October 2009

While googling to try and find an answer in the "Who Am I" thread, I came across the announcement that Gunther Rall died last month. Oct 4, 2009.
Third most successful ace in history with 275 victories, behind Hartman and Barkhorn.

I had not heard that, thanks Chris. Rall was a class act by all accounts.

Excellent site with obituary, a brief biography, and a 30-minute interview down at the bottom, the picture is small but the sound quality is excellent.
