If I have it right you'd delete the "warning" but still have a display that informs you how many saves?
I think we have all played enough to realize saves do not equal cheating.

Nevertheless, it would be nice to know if dawags suddenly saved 24 times on the last turn...;)

So delete the negatively connotated "warning" and just let us know the count.

My two cents.

ps:  I'm not a robot I am an organic meat popsicle.

That would be my preference as well!

Not quite, I removed the warning message box altogether.

There are so many ways to cheat, I'd just not play again a someone if I feel there was sommething iffy in the game.

Let us see how the others feel about this. I guess it would be an easy enough change to display the number of saves instead. If you guys really want to go that way.

I vote for leaving the count, but remove the warning.

RE: Aachen - West Wall Battle
We dove back into the Aachen scenario after an overview of all the goodies that are going on with the Campaign Series. Tim had A LOT of great questions today about game play, I'd recommend giving it a listen just for that reason alone! Otherwise, our massive tank battle continued and I'm whittling down the Germans. I was able to successfully capture two additional objectives today, leaving only three. The hardest ones though, with a wackload of Germans defending cities blocks with artillery, rockets and mechanized forces - including some King Tigers! It will be a rough go.

You got this Jason!

Slap those digital soldiers of yours into shape like General George if that is what it takes.
You have some of the best divisions the Yanks had to offer.

The Big Red One...although I like their Civil War nickname..."The Black Hatted B*stards"...given to them by Johnny Reb.
The only "professional" division in the army, always career soldiers. They have a proud tradition.

You also have the Old Hickory Boys from the 30th, named in honor of Andrew Jackson, who were referred to by the Germans as "Roosevelt's SS". Those were southern boys with attitude.

I realize you've probably already suffered horrendous casualties and are no doubt hanging on with your fingernails, because it is a strong German force with all the defensive advantage.

Until the Yanks climb into those bunkers...;)
Then it's just straight up murder on both sides.

Old Man Dan

Well that hasn't happened to me in decades, the lack of RAM issue. I was working on a scenario prior to launch today and during one of the replays the screen broke up. Fortunately, a save and restart remedied it, but alas, we missed one of the Germans turn. That being said, we are making excellent, but bloody, progress into the rear of the Germans. The city fighting is absolutely brutal, with vicious counterattacks by the Germans. The bright side to that is the ability for my follow on forces to counterattack and show the Germans some pain.
