Ultimate General Gettysburg

ACW is not my forte, but when I saw the ad on Steam for Ultimate General Gettysburg my jaw dropped. I know it's an RTS and not a hex based grognard game, but look at the graphics! I've always wondered what a battle like Gettysburg looked like from a bird's eye view, now you can experience that. It's kind of like Total War meets the Civil War. The visuals are absolutely stunning, the AI seems very robust and the game supports 1 vs 1 multiplayer. Did I say that the graphics are stunning already?

It's available for PC, MAC and iPad. The point that I found interesting is that the developers are considering developing games in other eras, so Ancients, ECW, Napoleonics, WW I, WW II etc. are possible. This just may become my first ACW game.

I have watched the demo videos a few times, it looks cool but from user reviews there are still a few bugs that affect game play which is kind of making me hesitate. But I think the game is like $10?, pretty cheap.
