Column & Echelon movement
Had some spare time and was thumbing through the EIF Players Guide and came across a few commands that I've never used. I was wondering if there are any players that have used either or both of the "Column & Echelon" movements during battle?

If so where and how do you use it or maybe a better way to ask is do you find it useful? Are these tools mostly used during large scenarios say divisional size infantry advancing while you're commanding an Army or Corp size game?

What are your thoughts?

An off topic question:

Does anyone know if there is a "Hot Key" for "Displaying Fixed Units"?

RE: Column & Echelon movement
I tried it once and did not have very good luck with it. Units running all over the place and quite a few went into the same minefield as I recall.........glad I was trying against the AI and not a live opponent.........I probably did it wrong but when playing H2H I take the time to move things. I will use the company level movement thos as this seems to work ok provided you are in a fairly safe and reconned area.
