Would anyone be interested in a Monster ME Operation? I'm looking for one or two dedicated and honest opponents. The idea is 3000pts per battle, 12 battles, night every 4th. Use the editor for forces, allies buy first so that axis player doesn't have to see any of their forces (that is where the honesty part comes in).
Since this is supposed to mimic a divisional sized ME with both sides having the rough orders of securing the towns and the terrain that dominates the road network, the following rules would be included:
- all forces start in the designated reinforcements areas
- no pre plotting arty in the deployment areas
- play as they lay with a 50m variance
- no more than 50% of points per battle can be spent on armor
- no restrictions on quality or nationality or mix of types, but an opponent
that prefers a somewhat realistic force mix is preferred.
- nothing off of fortifications menu the first battle.
- 2 TRP's per FO for the first 5 FO's, 1 per FO after that, starting in battle
2.
- no bunkers
- mines, trenches and wire allowed on turns 5 and 9, simulating digging in
during the night. Once layed, can not be moved.
- Would be open to doubling ammo loadout for allied arty, due to the high
purchase prices.
I think that would do, but if someone has any other suggestions or modifications to the rule set I'm open to discussion. Well, any takers?
im very interested, cmbb or cmak you want allies or axis? and 3000 a battle, were talkin 36000 pts, is that right unless there are massive casualties our pcs should explode on battle 9 hehe. send me an email we will talk, [email protected]
