It's only CMAK that happens in, yeah.........the CMBB thing is, I understand, acknowledged as an error, but Battlefront never did patch it.

In CMAK, fortifications points aren't counted at all, apparently (just ran a quick test to be sure). They seem to just not count in the point total. So if you are defending, spend 100pts of your 1000pts on fortifications, the defender can get max 900pts.
