Ost Prussen 1914 game @ 1st Musurian Lakes:   got a 373 hit with 18 150MM stockpiled cannons; indirect fire on a stack of poor illiterate Russian peasants in march mode, eating beets and drinking Wodka, who didn't know that were spotted. My biggest hit ever I think. Gee, I feel so warm and fuzzy!!! I kept the replay so that if I am ever depressed I can view that hit! Much better than Prozac. jonny

I think I managed a 300+ single shot with 2 x Brit battalions & 2 x MG against a stack of 4 x German battalions (deployed).

Lesson...........don't overstack when playing FWWC !!!!

Great stories gents. My best was in Kharkov '42, using alt fire rules (so total strength matters), hit a Soviet cavalry unit, in T mode, with a heavy air strike. Losses were in excess of 500 men, plus their horses.

Yes, all of the alt combat rules, from what I remember. It was something like an 800 man unit.
