Gentlemen: A friend of mine from Comsimworld emailed me a monograph ciculating there titled "Operation Slegehamer/Round Up vrs Operation Overlord" by G. Michael Giumarra. Mr Giumarra argues that a cross channel attack in 1942 to the Cotentin peninsula was not only feasible but stategically much more valid than later Overlord. Be that as it may, the article seems like a good basis for a scenario or scenarios to those of you who know how to build them. Since I dont know how to place this article into this tread, anyone interested in reading a very congent account of the situation on the Western front in October 1941 should contact me at [email protected].
