Personal Conduct on MB
Okay guys,

I just returned from visiting my ailing mother in Virginia and my return to the MB was very disappointing. I expect a much more enlightened level of banter and discussion.

It's time to clean up how we deal with each other. If you have nothing constructive or nice to say, refrain from saying it. Keep the sniping in your e-mail box and off the message boards. When you cross swords it should be on the electronic battlefield, not a guerilla "flame war".

If someone irritates you, it is not okay to respond by commenting on their every post or making snarky comments. Let it go.

Remember, it is better to let them think you are an idiot, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. We all have our moments and when you realize you are having yours, please refrain from responding until you are in a more reasoning mood.

If Antoni or Scud ask you to do something, please respond positively. We are a small community and need to maintain a cordial relationship to facilitate the reason we're here, eg wargaming. If you want to argue and insult each other, then there are other forums much better suited to that. It will not be the Blitz.

Regards

RE: Personal Conduct on MB
John,

It always seems to be the few that ruin it for the many. Strong passion sometimes gets in the way of reasoned dialogue. We just need to recognize when we need to reign in our passion.

Regards,

Jim
