If the Allied player captures every objective on the map, he exceeds the Major Defeat threshold by 101 points. It's quite possible the Axis position will fold at some point, but it's certainly a challenging scenario. Loss points being more important than objectives might work for a campaign game, but for small or medium sized scenarios it's not ideal.

What makes it even HARDER for the Allies is using the optional rule for Delayed Disruption Reporting.  It is not default yet we are using it for our tournament in a scenario that is already hard on the attacker. Wouldn't be my choice.

Rev, Rico and sja_ski starting this weekend

That works both ways. Given the German superiority in infantry firepower, Delayed Disruption Reporting means they can't maximize the potential benefits by cherry picking units in a stack. The Germans also have a serious number of artillery units in this scenario.

The usual downside that Delayed Disruption Reporting doesn't apply to mine clearing is a pity given the strength 1-3 minefields at the initial frontline.

I'm still in favour of the rule in all PzC scenarios.

Firing arty on the stack does the same thing. Don't know which unit is taking the casualties unless one disrupts or breaks. More pinpoint accuracy comes later in the Korean War and really skyrockets in Vietnam. It is really accurate today. They even use B52s, B1s and B2s for some Ground Support because of the amount and accuracy of Cruise Missiles and the amount of time they can linger in the target area. Things are different if we are fighting Russia or China because of their weapons systems. We would crush every enemy if they would fight the war first before they help build things in the country or not at all.
