Game Glitch -- CMBB?

An opponent and I each tried to start ''A Battle of Minors'' for pbem recently. Neither one was able to open the 3rd file sent...our passwords weren't accepted, despite being the correct passwords without question. Anyone else ever experience this? (files zipped or not made no difference)

I played this last year, pbem, with someone else and there were no problems. I can play it against the AI, and it moves from turn to turn with no problems. I have other CMBB games going that work just fine.
