Thoughts for Japan
My thoughts are with the Japanese people and those who have family out there at this time of terrible suffering. Let's say a prayer for the nation.

RE: Thoughts for Japan
What Japan needs right now is money and manpower. I have no doubt the global community will come together to help them recover from this horrible event.

RE: Thoughts for Japan
sorry, my thoughts are still with the people in New Zealand (Christchurch)
and when I think of Japan, I also think about negative things.
with New Zealand only positive aspects and experiences.

is it just my perception that in the last decade a lot more heavy (8,0 or higher on the richter scale)took place than in the 1990's?????

RE: Thoughts for Japan
Having served in Japan... It is a tragic event... and somewhat personal... It was a long time ago, but I traveled through this area in Japan. Such a loss. For the people of Japan and New Zealand the rim of fire is a hazardous place.

Regards,

Jim

RE: Thoughts for Japan
I've been glued to the news.
Wow! Nature is an unstoppable force.

Prayers to all those who are in need.
My heart does go out to the Japanese people.

Regards,

HSL

RE: Thoughts for Japan
One of the largest earthquakes in recorded history... followed by massive wall of water... followed by multiple possible reactor partial meltdowns and explosions... You can't get much more scary than that... Is it 2012 already?

I've been through earthquakes (and even a small one is no fun), a volcano, typhoons, hurricanes, fires, but thankfully no tsunamis or floods..

Can't get through to relatives... phone lines are not cooperating...

Yep, put California, Oregon and Washington coastal areas off my places to live... I'll stay on the high ground...
