I never knew Peter Cushing and Charlton Heston were wargamers. I wonder who else (famous people that is) are into this hobby?

RE: Booties Blog
H.G. Wells (author of The War of The Worlds and all kinds of other stuff) invented a game called 'Little Wars' and is definately a biggie in the whole invention of tabletop wargaming.

Robin Williams and Billy Crystal are apparently GW fans.

Vin Diesel is a Dungeons and Dragons player.

Peter Jackson is a huge WW2 tabletop fanatic, he had custom minis (ANZAC of course ) sculpted for his army and everything.

Gerard Way from so-called emo band 'My Chemical Romance' is a D&D player.

RE: Booties Blog
Fletcher Pratt, the history and fantasy author, created his own set of naval wargame rules in the 1930s. Under these rules a squadron of two or three British cruisers would beat a German "pocket battleship" more often than not. Several naval officers said this proved the rules were sadly innacurate.

BTW, it is an fun game to play if you have the model ships to play with and a basketball court to play on.
