Command Range - greg54 - 03-23-2022

I see that there is a hotkey for command range, but I cannot find anything in the manual that explains what command range does.

Very bottom of page 27 of the 1776 manual.

Detached Units
A unit is considered detached when it is outside the command radius of it’s
immediate superior officer, normally a Brigade commander. The Leaders
detached status is irrelevant for the determining this, thus allowing brigades to
be assigned to guard remote locations away from the main army, but still be a
fully functional command.
