Serbia 14 Campaign scenarios slow start up - Mr Grumpy - 03-30-2020

Just to say that a couple of the S14 campaign scenarios utilise a map that is so vast that it can take up to 20-30 seconds for the command report to appear when you start a turn, this is not a bug of any sort it is simply the program having to work out all the VST calculations on such a huge map.

1915_1007_01: Serbia Must Die! (4th Invasion)

1914: The Grand Campaign (scenario S14-D)

But it might be true of others as well to varying degrees.  Wink

I have an SSD drive and had no problem with the large scenarios.

Yep, the load time for those massive-map 1915 campaign scenarios will vary depending on the age of the computer. I don't think the load time is totally unbearable (its easy to do something for a minute while it loads the new turn) but certainly its a bit longer than most campaigns. Lots of calculations going on!

Of course anyone having issues can always turn Virtual Supply Truck rule off for very fast loading time.
