OG looking to get back in the saddle - Tactical - TexasJeff - 02-05-2020 Havent played in years but would like to find a tactical game with PBEM or real time. I like tactics, dont care about graphics or blowing things up. Thinking Squad Battles or Panzer Battles or a non John Tiller game. Old computer, 2013ish, 1.9 processor, 4 Ram. Suggestions are appreciated. RE: OG looking to get back in the saddle - Tactical - Compass Rose - 02-05-2020 ![]() Since you are running such a old computer, you are going to limit what you can actually run. Not sure that operating system you are running however, on every JTS Product tile page, it will list what the system requirements are for each title. Take note that some older JTS titles will run on WinXP. The newer titles need at least Vista or higher to run. One big asset to JTS games is that they are not heavy on the graphics! RE: OG looking to get back in the saddle - Tactical - TexasJeff - 02-05-2020 I have Windows 8.1. RE: OG looking to get back in the saddle - Tactical - Compass Rose - 02-05-2020 I would suggest you download the JTS Demos to see what interests you and how they run on your computer. I highly suggest getting the Panzer Battles Demo as it is like a mini game of its own and has somewhere around 25 different scenarios. The JTS Demos can be located here: http://johntillersoftware.com/Demos.php |
