Problem with editor - Ekaton - 08-09-2016

I have a problem with squad battles editor for FWW - scenarios created using it are always faulty and the game pops up "error reading scenario file" message and only about half of the units are loaded. Is there any way to fix that?

NOTE - it is the first time I am playing squad battles on WIN10, I had no problem with FWW on win 8.

EDIT - Already tried to reinstall the game, didn't work.

I can't help you out with the Win10 part as I am holding on to Win7 for as long as it is supported however, after reloading First World War on to your Win10 computer, did you remember to update it with update v1.01?

Did you alter the OOB file? Doesn't sound like an editor problem, sounds like the files being used have issues.

Also, what directory is the game installed to?

I combined the French Batallion 1914 with the German Batallion 1914 and added artillery from Gumbinnen and Charleroi scenarios. Usually this works - I played DE vs RU and AH vs RU scenarios made like that before and they worked.

It seems that there is some file problem indeed - I made new scenario using units from Wilhelm-01 scenario with a different map and it worked quite well.

Directory is D:\John Tiller Software\First World War

Nevermind, fixed the problem by fixing errors in oob using the oob editor.
