Modern War Satellite image idea for a wulfsmod - Wolfgang - 02-13-2011

I had an idea here to convert the graphics to an overhead satellite imagery view using actual to-scale screen captures in place of the handdrawn tiles.
Most likely I will mine something like google earth to start developing and testing this idea out.
It sounds good... but it may not work well in reality.

There is only one way to find out^^.

Any thoughts? Has someone tried this already??

(moderators i know this post crosses over into modding and design so feel free to remove)

I had thought about that before, but

1) My Photoshop-fu is weak
2) The resolution in Google Earth is not always clear enough.....

I don't even know what Photoshop-fu is Big Grin but after having worked as a public servant for a fair while -and everything being an acronym there- I did do a double take ... especially since I knew what Photoshop is ...

But, on a more serious note, no I never have (on anything)... but I would be interested in seeing what you come up with.

The photoshop thing... im lost on that.

Well i think the way I'm gonna integrate satellite imagery - and im workin on this atm - is to use it in the 2D zoom out view. Leaving the 2D zoom in with the regular graphics.
