I saw the first 2 on TV....I was a young man serving on exchange with the then RCN in Halifax at the time. Saw the second at the O-Club at USNAS North Island, then flew off to Halifax to get married. Still am. I played a bit of the Canadian version when I was there..... 3 downs as I recall. I don't think it's much of a game to play...doesn't compare with rugby or Aussie Rules, IMO, but it is a marvellous sporting spectacle.
