UPGRADING RANK... - carreteroarturo - 12-02-2010 Wow!...i havent see my rank.. last week i was a first class private Today i have a corporal rank. I'm not sure how Monty got his rank. Now Field Marshal Bill Slim, there's a guy who worked his way up the ranks. In WWI he became a Corporal and then got busted back down to Private before earning his way to the top, and collected three combat wounds on the way.
