Realistic Infantry Ammo Mod Released - Cross - 10-22-2010

I finished the first four nations of the ammo mod for SPWW2.

Typical ammo loads are approx:

Rifle:....60
SMG:....35
LMG:....47
HMG:....52

Only these nations have been converted so far:

• Germany
• Soviet Union
• Great Britain
• USA

If people are interested and I get positive feedback I will convert more nations.

All infantry units, including mortars and AA MGs have been converted. If the unit could move on foot, I adjusted the infantry weapons. All vehicles and towed units have been left alone.

You can read more about it and download the OOBs here:

But feel free to post comments or suggestions on this thread.

cheers

Thanks Cross! I'll take it out and kick the tires.

Thanks Wulf.

Hopefully they make the game more fun, more realistic, and less 'gamey', without being too much of a logistical pain.

Let me know....because they can always be adjusted.

cheers

I think this is a very elegant solution to the over use of z-fire as well as being more realistic. Now if you go z-fire crazy with squads and small arms...have at it...but, you are going to pay the piper. Curious to hear reports from people that implent it in their PBEM games.
