Credit for long term Smolensk Campaign - Cole - 10-02-2010

Looking for the Axis players in what was originally Earl's fictional Smolensk campaign. Earl had to stop refereeing and Jason P took over. Under Jason we played for over a year and then the campaign died out.

I would like to get credit for all players that kept playing until the end. I believe I played close to 18 months and this must have been one of the longest team campaigns in the club's history.

I believe the Allied players should be allowed to claim victory but willing to discuss with any German player either by e-mail or PM.

I was fighting in the North Sector, Larry Reese in the Center, and Ed Bober in the South.

Thank You

I remember that campaign. I was in it at the begining before family obligations forced me to stop gamming. That was one beauty of a map also.

It was a heck of a map. Didn't I take over North from you?

I was part of the German team, in the center.Umbro was in the north and Von luck in the south. We didn't quit.I think Jason just stopped sending turns for some reason.

I'll talk offline with Umbro but it seems that we all can claim credit for this long campaign and score it as a draw.

So I played Von Luck in the south all this time. Never knew who my opponent was over there...

I have added a scenario to the EF database titled "Earlmann's Smolensk Campaign" so the six players remaining at the end can claim credit.

Please work out between yourselves in each sector the victory levels.
