The Battle of the Bulge - Big Ivan - 12-16-2009 Today marks the 65th anniversary of the start of the Battle of the Bulge. Please take a moment in your day to remember all the soldiers from all the nations living and passed who fought in that terrible engagement. Ivan the Big RE: The Battle of the Bulge - Cole - 12-17-2009 A good way to spend the anniversary is to check out Earlmann's Chronicles series. I know some don't agree with Earlmann's OOB and the lack of lower level HQ's but a lot of testing has been done and can really recommend a great challenge playing the Germans in 1st Chronicles. Playing 2nd Chronicles now and it's a blast. RE: The Battle of the Bulge - Hawk Kriegsman - 12-17-2009 I'll second that Cole. VonE makes some of the best scenarios around! In fact (at least on the American side) the leaders you'll see in Don's scenarios are actual soldiers. I think he even has a couple of historical German leaders in his scenarios. Yes Don has made some very good scenarios regarding BoB. He has not been on in a while. Hope he is well. Thanx! The last one I finished some months ago was played only once (by myself against Steffen) despite plenty of advertizing. And there are more Ardennes scns around that have hardly ever been played.
