Blitz-newbie looking for a SPMBT-opponent - Kovski - 06-11-2009

Hello everyone, I'm new on the Blitz SP-ladder and I'm looking for my first opponent for SPMBT-match. Some preferences about the game:

-A small battle for starters would be nice, about a single infantry company with support units would be ok. Battle type preferably meeting engagement.
-Any date/country combination is possible, though I especially like playing battles set in real wars.
-Custom maps are also ok, and I can make them if one isn't available. Not necessary though.
-Realistic force compositions please. No atgm/arty/sniper-spam.
-As for game preferences, all are ON except fast artillery. Game version is WinSPMBT v.4.5. PBEM slots 1-4 are open.
-I can play a turn every day or two, possibly faster.

I have played the game for a while now, and while I wouldn't call myself an expert I do know pretty much how the game works.

Hi!

I think I would give it a try. Although I think a coy of grunts is not really much. I would suggest three coys of infantry + support stuff. From my experience, it can be handled also by a beginner ( I count myself as a beginner Big Grin). The rest of Your preferences fits me well. It is up to You!

Cheers
Michael

Ok, do you have any specific countries/dates in mind? I'm currently playing the 1980s Iran-Iraq-war, so anything else would be good. I'm ok with a bit larger battle also, just nothing huge. Email me your suggestions and let's see what we come up with.
