Newbish Looking For Opponent - bumbling emir - 02-07-2008

Howdy.

The thread title says almost everything. I've played a few SPWAW PBEM and online games, but it was a long long time ago. I'm pretty rusty, and haven't played anything but the AI in a good while, but I'd like to have a go against a human opponent.

I'm not very good, particularly with modern gear, but I'm willing to give anything a try, and I tend to enjoy playing the underdog, so... anyone interested, drop me a note. I tend to like infantry, lower point values, small battles, and I try to go for historic or at least plausible formations. Playing and losing in interesting ways can be almost as much fun as winning.

I've got SPWAW, SPMBT and SPWW2. May need a bit of assistance with the PBEM process, particularly with the last two, but I think I know which buttons to press.

Hi,

I would take you on for a game of SPWW2 if you like.

What´s your suggestions ?

I don´t play SPWAW, I prefer SPH2H which is an outstanding
realism mod.
Can be downloaded for free
http://world.at.war.free.fr
needs SPWAW 7.1 + H2H mod

Cheers, Klaus ( Jolly Roger )

Send me an email to [email protected]
make sure it´s no spam, by using the words Blitz PBEM ........

Have started a game with Jolly Roger, let's see how that turns out.

I could probably keep two games running, though, so if anyone else is interested, let me know. Since this is a SPWW2 1942 Japanese vs. UK meeting engagement game, I'd probably be looking for something rather different. Could be WW2 in another theatre, could be another era, could be an advance or an assault, maybe? Variety's the spice of life and all that.

Hi,

I'm engaged in some battles but still have room for more. Any combination that you prefer.

I have the following slots available:
  • SPMBT - 002, 003, 004
  • SPWW2 - 000, 001, 003, 004

Ready to roll....
