I have not heard about fixes for OOBs, you may want to try Alby's mod for WaW. There may be elite infantry for Russians.

You can punch a good sized hole into enemy lines during turn 0 with bombers, there is usually not a single unit within 3-4 hexes of the center of the strike that can do any resistance.

No air spotters in H2H.

The Enhanced SPWAW Mod has NKVD troops as well as many other new and different varieties in all oobs that previous version of SPWAW do not..
please check out the "Enhanced SPWAW" site here

Hello Dimitry,

There 2 other SP games available. These are WinMBT, and WinWW2. Both are free downloads from:

www.shrapnelgames.com

WinMBT covers the years 1949 thru 2020, and WinWW2 covers 1930 thru 1949.

Both games have airstrikes, spotting aircraft.

MBT, with the later technology has many other features - helicopters, SEAD, COIN, gunships, ATGM, laser range finders - these are only a few. The unit choices in both WW2 and MBT are much greater than in any SPWAW based game.

If you are looking for early ww2 battles, WinWW2 is a very good selection...

Welcome to the club!

Vesku, Alby and Greybeard, thank you for your replies.
They helped me a lot.

2 Greybeard

I'm playing these two games already for about 2 years.
And you can find my posts on Shrapnel MBT forums - I have same nickname there. But thank you for your kind help!
