B45 Recon - Marquo - 04-23-2007

What are the initial impressions of B45? Is anyone into the Konrad megacampaign yet?

Marquo cheers

RE: B45 Recon - Volcano Man - 04-23-2007

There is a 395 turn long Konrad campaign that comes with it which (if I am not mistaken) covers all three stages.

RE: B45 Recon - Jazman - 04-23-2007

It definitely has the feel of a medium-sized scenario, but one that runs for a _very_ long time. Don't expect to be moving Minsk- or Stalingrad-scale armies here (I can hear the sighs of relief...).

I just started a campaign. The German gets to start with the relief attempt, whilst at the same time the Russian gets to try to reduce Budapest. Budapest itself is full of bunkers and pillboxes and mines and eventually RUBBLE, but the troop quality of the Axis forces (even of the Germans) is not so great. The SS Cavalry Corps is mediocre, but the bits of the Feldherrnhalle division are decent.
