WWII era bomb kills road worker in Germany - TheBigRedOne - 10-24-2006

It seems that people are still dying from WWII vintage bombs. They think that it was too small to be a arial bomb, maybe it was an arty shell, mortar or even a mine. Either way, it's tragic.

I saw a program a few years back where it was estimated that it would take the French another 3 centuries to get rid of all the unexploded ordinance left over from both world wars.
