We had a rousing stand up fight once the minefields were initially penetrated, which was to my Allied forces benefit as I was able to trap and destroy significant Axis troops before their best troops arrived at the front. Also, although the tanks on both sides suffered heavily, the German panzers just don't have enough of the best HA panzers to stand up to the stacks of Grants and Crusaders with the high HA - especially after I focused on killing Marders prior to the panzer's arrival.
