Maybe I don't understand. Any of the numerous Commonwealth artillery can fire smoke rounds. That is the normal and only way of firing smoke. It requires using the artillery dialog and select Alternate Fire - Smoke.

Doug,

You're right. This wasn't one of my scenarios and it's obvious that smoke was added, but there is no artillery on or off map to fire it.

Having read up on this action, there is no rationale for smoke to be included and I'll remove it from the scenario for the patch.
