Excellent Herr Chuck and Herr Glider,
not only the Russians didnt manage to advance but they ve also paid a heavy price in men and material.
It would be usefull if u post a detailed casualty report both urs and enemy's.

Our Casualties:

1 50mm PaK38 knocked out (crew is OK)
3 HMGs eliminated
1 inf squad eliminated
3 casualties from one Plt HQ
19 casualties amongst 3 squads (4+7+8)

Congratulations Herr Chuck, that is a most impressive result, and I should know since I am playing the same scenario :-)
I only hope to do nearly as well as you.

Sorry for the little absence, computer issues. Mostly fixed now, I just have some things to get straight and see how much data I lost from the hard drive crash.

OK, the game is over. The last 10 turns were very badly played and/or unlucky from my side. This is the final situation:

As you can see we managed to hold to about half of the flags, leaving the crossroad contested.

The second 50mm ATG and 20mm were lost without inflicting any damage (again tungsten bounced). Our infantry losses, which were light throughout the game, became dreadful over the last few turns due to canister rounds from T-34s.

Our losses are about 60%+ of the inf company.
Two out of five HMG teams.
Both 50mm ATGs
Both 20mm AA.

The enemy losses are:

1 T-34 knocked out, 1 T-34 immobilized, 1 T-70 knocked out, 1 T-70 damaged.

I believe that his infantry losses are heavy. I counted 7 killed Soviet infantry markers, including a company HQ.
