Patric, I might be missing something, but shouldn't the sides be the other way around? The Central Powers go first.

Shipwreckedfool - I'm posting here as I'm not sure you have access to your email with your laptop situation.  Please advise when in July you expect to be back in the states and available to play the round 4 scenario.  You can reply here, or via PM or email, whichever works for you.

Thanks.

RE: 1914 Valour - FWWC Tournament Round 4 - panther421 - 07-06-2025

Game result for Panther421 and Ashcloud.

CP Major victory. Russian resignation after 10 turns, point total 1722.

RE: 1914 Valour - FWWC Tournament Round 4 - Almskaar - 08-12-2025

Result for Almskaar vs. SvenDuuva

CP major victory 1750 points, Russians conceded end of turn 16

RE: 1914 Valour - FWWC Tournament Round 4 - ComradeP - 08-12-2025

@Patric: when it comes to bonus points, will the people with opponents who conceded get full bonus points on top of the major victory even if the points total at the moment when the game was stopped would be too low for that? It seems fair, seeing as how the outcome would be likely to improve and not worsen.

Central Powers Major Victory, 4149 points.

ComradeP (Central Powers) vs. Stephen (Allied Powers)

As soon as II Army Corps was encircled, the outcome was no longer in doubt. The only Russian units remaining are in the south-western and north-eastern parts of the map.

RE: 1914 Valour - FWWC Tournament Round 4 - SvenDuuva - 08-12-2025

I agree with ComradeP and was ready to argue the same point about bonus points. It shouldn't count against the winner if their opponent concedes the game.

This scenario especially can be (and was) quite a miserable experience for the Russian player, if their retreat fails and the endgame is just about Central Powers running up the score.
