Now, all countrys will eventually be utilising a unique 2d picture for each unit, and MANY more different military symbols! RE: Glimpse at the new icons2D.bmp - Warhorse - 10-18-2013 Just added in Mountain Troops symbol as well, amazing no one thought to add to the end of the file before, never crossed my mind until I saw someone had added some German stuff down in the Russian area, and added that number!!! I play a good deal in 2D, and the lack of symbols always bothered me, didn't play with the 2D pictures, but when I recently tried it, was MAJOR disappointed by the lack of unit depictions!! The reason for the project, hope you all will enjoy them as much as I am having a good time doing them, they look great in-game! Special units, like Guards, SS, NKVD, etc., all get their own color 2D military symbology as well, NKVD a blue shade(Blue hats they were called), Guards red, SS, a grey tone, More to follow!!
