As a rookie, the following video really helped me visualize the different infantry formations and understand the pros & cons associated with each.

The channel also features a very interesting playlist of videos on the Napoleonic wars, many of them matching the different JTS/WDS titles. I found them very useful to understand the big picture behind each campaign.
