Hi

Looking at the combat modifiers in the parameter data for Minsk 44, I have found bunker defence and pillbox defence (which are both positive numbers). As there are also numbers for bunker and pillbox (which are both negative numbers), what is bunker defence and pillbox defence?

Thanks..Mark

Bunkers and Pillboxes provide an increase in the Defense value as well as the fire percentage modifier. Furthermore, units in Bunkers and Pillboxes are considered Hard Targets and thus are only affected by the Hard Attack value of the firing units. To receive the benefits of a Bunker or Pillbox, a unit must not consist of Vehicles (however Deployed motorized/mechanized infantry do benefit) and the unit must be Deployed.

Got this from the manual so if I’m right the first number is positive increase to defence the second number the number % fire modifier
Correct.

The negative number with "%" behind it is the Fire percentage modifier. It is cumulative with Quality, Terrain, Elevation and Hexside modifiers.

The "+" number is added to the unit's Defense value, if the unit type can benefit from fortifications. You can see the adjusted value in the unit stats overview in the unit information panel.

Bunkers, pillboxes and forts all turn Deployed infantry units into Hard targets.
