At the village of Tichnovka (hex 53-83) there are a number of Red Army units (commander, infantry & arty) isolated there way behind German lines.  Was this a paradrop? Thanks, jonny
They were Soviet forces from an earlier breakthrough that had been contained and was in the process of being mopped up. They were liberated by the advancing Soviets during the Korsun operation.
