Hi!

I'm playing around with the PzB Demo to recreate the current OOB of the brigade I was in years ago...yeah I'm crazy.
2 questions popped up.

1) Is there a way to add new nations without code changes?

I didn't find a way so I made do with overwriting the German files - who likes Germans anyway  Helmet Wink

---

2) Are there formulas, guidelines or similar to come up with values for hard attack, soft attack, assault, defense,...

While I mainly started this project to admire the OOB and units I might at some point want to create some small scenario...

Current state is far from perfect but I like it though  Helmet Smile

Reusing nationalities is all you can do, they are hard coded in the engine. Who needs Germans when you have the Bundesheer.

For values, for WW2 there is a set of values by Ed "Volcano Man" Williams based on old board game values in part that I believe is used. So no idea how to carry it over to your units. Strela/David may have some thoughts if he comes by, as I think there was some thought but maybe no values put into a Modern Panzer Battles game.
Here are the country's that are able to be in the game, must name a folder exactly like it is-
German
Italian
Rumanian
Hungarian
Finnish
Russian
Polish
Norwegian
British
French
Netherland
Belgian
French-Vichy
Grecian
Yugoslavian
American
Italian-Allied
Romanian-Allied
French-Free
German-SS
Russian-Guards
American-AB
British-AB
Canadian
Commonwealth
Egyptian
Israeli
Iraqi
Kuwaiti
Republican-Guard
Syrian
Jordanian
West-German
East-German
South-Korean
North-Korean
Luftwaffe
American-Marine
Iranian
Iranian-Guard
Chinese
Soviet
NKVD
Soviet-Guards
Russian-Siberian
Japanese

Of course each folder must have all the sub folders with all the bmp's and such. Enjoy!!
Thanks for all the information!

Looks like everything is prepared to support modern day battles one day...except they didn't include Austria...what would a World War be without Austria?

This is in insult and I will inform the Kaiser about this...   Helmet Wink
