Hello,
I just recently purchased the War of 1812, the installer says version 1.09. When I play the game, and check the version of the game I have in the About Tab, it says I am at 1.08. I tried downloading and installing the last update of 1.09, still the same. The maps a look updated, so I am thinking it is a typo. Just wanted to confirm with the other players if that is normal to be at 1.08. I appreciate the help.

I emailed JTS Support two days ago about this very thing and they said that it was a known issue and it will be corrected in the next update.
