I did, but was a beta tester as well. It's a great game, in classic Grigsby fashion. It's built on WitE & WitW, so if you're familiar with those you can jump right in. Goes well beyond though in Air, Logistics and detail, with new mechanics.

I think it's what we've come to expect from Grigsby games, in the depth you can drill down. What's new are the assist features for air and logistics, that aid the casual gamer who doesn't want to get down into the mud.

Anyone who's ever enjoyed a Grigsby game should pick this one up, I think. Even if you thought they may have been too deep, or time consuming.
I am very intrigued, but the divisional scale combined with weekly turns seems odd. Your opponent can do a lot before you get a chance to respond. Still, I see War in the West and Operation Torch are on sale and seem like a good way to get the feet wet.
Enjoy guys!
Does anyone know if it is possible to play a team game against the AI?

With the current release, you would have to pass the save file around to the team members with last one hitting end turn.

Well I got impatient and with the wife gifting herself a Vegas weekend with a friend I thought it only fitting that I gift myself a copy of War in the East 2.  Just started fooling around with it last night.  Will dig a bit deeper tonight and I'm off tomorrow so some serious excavation can take place.
