Good news it is a great game.
Beautiful Design Notes. Will definitely be picking this one up next week!
Great. Whats the maximum turn lenght in the longest campaign?
Finally!
Such a great game. I really enjoyed reading the notes. Congrats to all the team!
I think this is the longest campaign:

#1020_01_Scheldt_Campaign_II "Terrible Victory"
Date: October 20-November 8
Turns: 178

Other long campaigns:

#1001_01_Scheldt_Campaign_I "In the Shadow of Arnhem"
#1001_01a_Scheldt_Campaign_I "In the Shadow of Arnhem"
#1001_01b_Scheldt_Campaign_I "In the Shadow of Arnhem"
Date: October 1-17
Turns: 151

#0917_01_Channel_Ports "The Long Left Flank"
Date: September 17-28
Turns: 117
Looks awesome, can't wait!
It is worth noting that it was impossible to create a new terrain type representing "Flooded fields", so as "Jungle" terrain type was not being utilised they modified the artwork and used that.

Unfortunately when you click on such a hex the terrain info box will still say "Jungle", I am sure in the future we will see posts from players who have not read the designers notes asking why there is Jungle terrain in this title.  Wink

I have no doubt.
As we know that you cannot make new terrain types, are polders that were shown in the graphical update announcement blog post considered to be fields(?) (i.e., Does 'Field'(?) terrain represent polders [or both polders and regular fields]?)?
